I was just thinking today looking at the number of people tweeting and facebooking constant updates around me in the auditorium on how much social networking has changed things. There is a tv in the lobby streaming constant twitter updates from people in the auditorium. I was watching a lady (sat behind her) on her Mac googling the speaker on stage, finding bio info and pics and then dispatching these to friends and colleagues via facebook updates, tweeting and gmail. I was impressed that she could even follow the presentation.
